- It's tough not to be snarky about this one: A Benjamin Franklin High School student was expelled from summer school today after he tried to hit a teacher who caught him cheating on his social studies final.
- The area took a pounding from mother nature last night. Worst hit was the Poconos, where a tornado did some major damage.
- Just how far will exes go to spite one another? Far enough to spend over 3 years and a combined $40,000 in legal fees over custody of a dog, apparently.
- The budget impasse in the state level will start affecting school districts as of today, as hundreds of millions of dollars in state subsidy money cannot be paid out until a new budget is in place and the subsidy payments are authorized.
- The first rule of bank robbery: If it at first you do succeed, well then hell, hit the same bank again a couple days later. The second rule, which this robber obviously forgot: Try not to let the bank security cameras get a crystal clear shot of your face.
