Phillyist has long been a fan of the Warped Tour, and this year is no exception. Tomorrow's tour brings over fifty bands to various stages in what will be a *hopefully* sunny day of rock and roll. We love going to Warped Tour because you can always bet on there being bands you know and love, as well as some up-and-comers and little-known groups to discover and enjoy. It's gonna be a great day.
Despite the weather prediction that it could feel like you're walking through pudding, there'll be plenty of awesome things to see and do at Warped. You can count on Less Than Jake to deliver a great performance as well as the infectious NOFX and Anti-Flag, who always come through for us. Warped Tour has always been known as a punk rock event but this year, expect some acts to come through with some heavier stuff as well as some poppier groups as well. There's a little something for everyone this year. (You can find the complete lineup of bands here.) Phillyist will try and cover as much as possible but with this many bands on the docket, it's gonna be tough.
If you've been reading the Warped Tour blogs, don't count on your favorite band playing the same time as they did in a different city—set lists are drawn up the day of the event. Get there on time so you don't miss a note. Also, this year you can get a Jump the Line pass. Bring a non-perishable item from this list and you'll do two things: bring some much-needed help to the Camden Urban Women's Center, and start rocking that much sooner.
