Phillyist Fosters DeeDee, Caley, and Penny lounge around in a pose fit for a Tom Ford photo shoot. (Ross Currie, all rights reserved.)
As we mentioned last month, Phillyists Jill and Ross welcomed some PAWS foster kitties into their home. We're pleased to report that the Phillyist Fosters are all now available for adoption!!! So with that, meet our three lovely bachelorettes.
Caledonia (ID# A07655980)
Caledonia (Caley) is our beautiful mama cat; she and her daughters ended up in our foster care through PAWS when their owners couldn't afford to care for them. She's very laid back and loves human affection, especially having her head scratched. Caley would be great in a home as an only cat or with her daughter DeeDee. She'll also likely be okay with another laid back, non-territorial cat. She's a gorgeous, low maintenance girl who is ready for a forever home where she'll get some peace, quiet, and regular human love.
Delilah (ID# A07656014)
Delilah (DeeDee) is a lively dilute calico kitten, about 12 weeks old. She loves to play with straws, wine corks, toy mice, and just about anything else she can get her adorable little paws on. Once she tires herself out, she loves to curl up on a windowsill or comfy chair or cat bed and relax (and to charm you with her good looks). She also likes being held like a baby and having her head scratched. This adorable girl will bring a lot of life to a forever home. She'd be fine with another cat, either Caley or just another cat that will play with her and let her curl up with them.
Penelope (ID# A07655984)
Penelope (Penny) is just about the prettiest little thing you can imagine. She's an adorable 12 week old dilute calico kitten who loves attention—and with her good looks and big purr (her whole body vibrates when she really gets going), it's hard to stop paying attention to her. She'll sneak up on you and curl up beside you; before you know it, you won't be able to get off the couch and do anything else because the cuteness must be acknowledged. Penny is a playful girl who would do well in a home with another cat. She's going to make a forever home very, very happy.
All three girls are spayed, have just one more round of booster shots left to go (included w/ the adoption fee and provided by PAWS), and dewormed. Caley has tested negative for FeLV/FIV; the kittens can be tested for $15 each (testing is usually superfluous when the mother cat has tested negative). If you'd like more information about any of the girls or want to arrange to meet them, e-mail me at ross@phillyist.com.
