Pecha Kucha Whata?

Quick! What do a puppeteer, a fisherman, a psychologist, an aquarium volunteer, and the band Igor's Egg have in common?

If you guessed that they'll all be presenters at Studio 34's Pecha Kucha, you probably already heard about this super original event going down on Saturday, June 13th. Governed by one simple rule, show 20 slides and talk about each one for 20 seconds, this evening of "rapid fire creativity" will be nothing if not interesting.

With topics like "All I Really Need to Know I Learned in World of Warcraft" (given by a hoity toity Wharton grad) and "Snake-o-Phobia, Jonny Explores His Fear of Snakes Using Original Illustrations" (given by a not so hoity toity person who fears snakes) Phillyist can't wait to see what this diverse group of folks can put together for their individual six minutes and forty seconds of fame.

For more information about this fun and fast fire event, visit http://phillypechakucha.com You can also contact Jonathan McEuen at (301) 461-5673 or mceuen@gmail.com. There is a suggested five dollar donation at the door, and honestly, for the eclectic group of professional and entertaining folks they've managed to group together, this is a steal. Do Studio 34 a favor and throw in ten -think of it as good karma.
