
- Police are looking for a man who sprayed bullets at two people on the 3200 block of N. Randolph Street. The incident occurred at around 9:30 p.m. last night.
- This weekend, sweeps by local law enforcement as well as state and federal agencies netted 67 arrests and roughly $167,000 in drugs. On spot which was raided, the Caddi Lounge (25th and York Streets), had an arsenal of weapons and ammunition. They also have enough evidence to suggest that they were dealing drugs from behind the bar.
- The Army Corps of Engineers has beach-fill projects on its stimulus package budget. This includes the beach-fills that happen on the Jersey shore each summer. However, the Office of Management and Budget has shuffled its feet in approving the money.
- Our great Commonwealth is moving forward with plans to host the 35th National Conference of State Legislators here in Philadelphia. The conference is set to cost state taxpayers roughly $1.1 million in times when most are saving more than they're spending.
- A man taking his dog for a walk also carried with him a machete on Saturday in Germantown. He then allegedly swung his weapon at a passerby. All of this prompted a 16 hour standoff with law enforcement outside of his home on Prince Street nearh McMahon
