
- If you happen to see a man with an Eagles tattoo on his back, find a cop and turn him in. Police are looking for this man who allegedly assaulted an off-duty Philadelphia Police Officer on Sunday at the Phillies' home opener.
- Police Chief Ramsey issued an apology to State Representative Jewell Williams yesterday. Williams was handcuffed and stuffed into the back of a patrol car when he asked officers a question at a police car stop involving two other men.
- Fire investigators are looking for the cause of yesterday's four-alarm blaze that destroyed the former Flexible Flyer sled factory in North Philly last night. The fire at Fifth and Ontario Streets was fought for an hour-and-a-half before being controlled. There were no injuries reported.
- The U.S. Supreme Court rejected Mumia Abu-Jamal's appeal for a new trial yesterday. Abu-Jamal has been imprisioned for more than 25 years after being found guilty of the murder of Officer Daniel Faulkner.
- SugarHouse hopes that by this time next year you'll be pulling the lever of a slot machine. They announced their updated plans yesterday at a news conference at City Hall with a supportive Mayor Nutter.
