Hopefully you’ve already had a chance to stop by the Rosenbach Museum to check out the exhibit There’s A Mystery There: Sendak on Sendak, a retrospective of the work of writer and illustrator Maurice Sendak, whose most famous creation was the much beloved Where the Wild Things Are.
Craving more time lost in Sendak’s fantastical worlds? You’re in luck! The Rosenbach is releasing a DVD companion to the exhibit, There’s a Mystery There: Sendak on Sendak: A Retrospective in Words and Pictures. It features Sendak discussing his work and his influences, along with interviews with those most familiar with him.
We would like to offer one of you wonderful readers a chance at getting your hands on a copy. Additionally, we’re offering two free tickets to the Rosenbach. Even if you made it to the opening like Phillyist, the Rosenbach has presented three different installments of Sendak’s work over the past year, and in January introduced 130 new pieces into the exhibit.
Fill out the form below before 5:00 PM on Friday, March 27, and we’ll contact the winner the following Monday. Good luck!
Note: If you win, a notification will be sent to you at the email address you provide in the contest form, usually a day or so after the contest ends. So please keep an eye on your inbox and junk mail folder for a message from us, especially if the giveaway is for tickets to an event that is coming up soon. Thanks.
