We love Beer Week. And one of the events we’re excited about has been missing from the itineraries of Philly tastings. This Friday the 13th, 13 Restaurant will offer free samples of appetizers and Sam Adams from noon until midnight.
Located at the Marriott Downtown on 12th and Market, 13 serves American cuisine—comfort foods like lobster mac’-n-cheese and mozzarella sticks topped with a bacony crisp, and savory entrees including a glazed, pepper-encrusted salmon and paella-inspired pasta dishes. Sports enthusiasts will particularly appreciate 13’s contemporary décor: flat screens are angled above the bar and mounted over booths, guaranteeing drinkers an easy access to the NCAA basketball tournaments.
A different beer selection will make the rounds every hour, and at 5:00, 13 will introduce the latest member of Sam Adams’ Brewmaster Collection: Blackberry Witbeir, a golden brew inspired by the bittersweet taste of berries and citrus. After Friday, 13 will be the only place to grab the beer until April.
So join us for 13 (13 beers)/ 13 (13 hours) / 13 (13 Restaurant) starting at noon on Friday. If you’re thirsty for more than samples, order any Sam Adams for $3.
The Philadelphia Marriott Downtown is an official sponsor of Beer Week.
