Fanboys
The long-delayed comedy about a bunch of Star Wars fans on a mission to invade Skywalker Ranch and see The Phantom Menace before it comes out. It's an amusing premise involving one of our favorite movie series of all time, but unfortunately, it sounds like the movie is not very good.

We're excited that all of the animated and live-action shorts nominated for Oscars this year are once again playing in local theaters. It's a great opportunity to see some acclaimed films that you wouldn't normally be able to see.

Waltz with Bashir
This is pretty unique: an animated documentary. A friend of the director reveals he has recurring nightmare in which he is chased by 26 vicious dogs. They decide there must be a connection to their Israeli Army mission in the first Lebanon War of the early eighties, but the director is surprised to realize he can't remember anything about that period of his life. So he sets out to meet and interview old friends and comrades around the world to unravel the mystery of his own past. Sounds really intriguing, and it's getting extremely positive reviews.

He's Just Not That Into You
One of our least anticipated movies of this year, this is a film based on a relationship advice book. It's about a woman who can't seem to get a grip on the men in her life, and her pursuit of an advice columnist who never quite knew what he wanted in a relationship. It stars Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Connelly, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Aniston, Ben Affleck, and Justin Long, which is a pretty impressive bunch. But the critics are not being kind.

Coraline
This stop-motion animated film adaptation of Neil Gaiman's fantasy book, directed by Henry "The Nightmare Before Christmas" Selick, looks totally amazing, and is getting a lot of good buzz. A big thumbs up.

The Pink Panther 2
And here's another film from our list of this year's least anticipated movies! And the incredibly low freshness rating (7% as of this writing) would seem to back up our assessment. It features the return of Steve Martin as the irritatingly incompetent French police inspector Jacques Clouseau. There's a mystery of some kind, and wackiness ensues. We're not interested.
