Proofreading Philly tries to capture typos, wordos, and all other kinds of grammatical mistakes that we see around the city. But we need your help! Email photos to us from your computer or your phone, and show the city that you care about good grammar.
This isn't especially timely anymore (February, after all, starts Sunday), but we had to share the photo Phillyist reader AS sent us back in December. He snapped it at Kindy's Hall of Christmas Horrors (we don't know what it is, either) at 20th and Moyamensing. We think it's sad that some people didn't learn the "then/than" rule in fourth grade. Or how to use spell check. And don't get us started on the wrongfully-possessive apostrophe. (Yeah, we know, sometimes an apostrophe after an abbreviation is correct—but that doesn't mean we have to like it.)

You didn't even touch on the floating exclamation points and the most nonsensical capitalization scheme ever.
This sign makes my brain hurt.
