Andrew,
I totally agree. He SHOULD appeal the suspension. I'm just admiring his character. As for the arbitrator, he's a fraud for upholding this, I just failed to express my contempt for him, as well, because it's hard to keep your thoughts organized when you're rushing paragraphs at work between co-worker walk-bys. But let the record state, that the arbitrator is a first-class douche.

No contempt for the idiotic arbitrator who actually said he was negligent and upheld the suspension?

The most negligent thing he's doing is not appealing this suspension. Look at what happened in the NFL under similarly shady circumstances. All of the facts seem to be in his favor: He sent a sample to MLB, he has the letters saying he was ok to take OTC supps, he was not informed of an earlier positive test, etc. That, to me, is ridiculous. He's cutting off his nose to spite his face.

Major League Baseball 1869-1994.
Last World Championship Team: Toronto Blue Jays (1993)
Most All Time Home Runs: Hank Aaron, 755
Most Single Season Home Runs: Roger Maris, 61, 1961

Nothing counts after August 11, 1994 the day that baseball was murdered by Bud Selig.

Ah Bud Selig you have always cared so much about baseball ever since you stole the Seattle Pilots to create the Milwaukee Brewers. Then it went downhill from there.

I wonder if there is anything to connect him with the death by "heart attack" of A. Bartlett Giamatti, which was basically the event that got Selig's power grab rolling. Now with drugs, overpaid players, cites extorted into building new stadiums, along with a whole laundry list of other problems the rotting corpse of baseball is just being picked at by the vulture Selig who finds ways to montize everything about the game.

Do not waste your time and money on baseball. It is dead. Go out and enjoy life.
You really don't need to watch a bunch of mercenary millionaire drug addicts play schoolyard games. When real baseball was played by real men, they had jobs in the off season.

Stick the money you save not going to games in a savings account and watch the money grow.

Take the time and tutor kids who probably would have had much better schools if millions of dollars weren't thrown away to build stadiums.

If you have children, do not expose them to these scumbags. Show them real heroes like firefighters and police officers.

Hey, here is an idea, why don't we have a tax on sports salaries and sports owners profits and actually put that money back in the community. These leeches known as professional sports teams have sucked enough from this and every other city they have parasitically attached themselves to.

Obviously, the big B.S. didn't want the Phillies to win the World Series, is annoyed and taking it out on poor Romero. Well, no, mostly Selig's just a big idiot... Dug yourself into a hole? Quick! Dig deeper!

Honestly, if Selig isn't already ashamed of himself, I doubt this'll be the tipping point.
