"Kitten season" may technically be at its end, but the shelter is still at full capacity, and there are still litters in need of fostering!!! You can literally save animals' lives by fostering a litter until the kittens are old enough for adoption. You can find more information on fostering here.

Big Mama (ID# A06402212)
Big Mama is an adult girl, somewhere in the 6 to 10 years old range, whose former humans clearly didn't take the best care of her. She's overweight, and it looks like her coat was never brushed. But, despite being somewhat neglected in the past, she has a big spirit, and Big Mama loves to be the object of affection. With a little bit of TLC to help her get in shape and beautiful, she'll be your ideal housecat.
If you'd like to save Big Mama, e-mail Anna at Phillyshelterdogs@gmail.com. The adoption fee for a PAWS cat is $40. The fee includes spaying/neutering, which will be performed before your new companion comes home with you, and microchipping. Also, make note of Big Mama's ID number above, and bring it with you when you go to the PETCO in Northeast Philadelphia, which is located at 9717 Roosevelt Boulevard (map). Adoption hours are Mon.-Fri., 6-8 p.m., and Sat. & Sun., 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
