• We're a little tired of dysfunctional families in movies, so we're glad to see Cinematical celebrating non-dysfunctional movie families in its latest list.
• Notify Me When It's Up sounds kind of handy if you're a fan of websites that often go down. Give it a site URL and an email address and it will send an email to that address when the site comes back up.

• Rumor has it Disney's proposed third Chronicles of Narnia movie, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, may be delayed or scaled back as a result of Prince Caspian's disappointing box-office performance.
• An auction of more than 500 costumes, props, set pieces and other items from various movies and TV shows will be going down on December 11th. Items up for sale include Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800 costume from Terminator 2, Damien's tricycle from The Omen, a set of all seven Harry Potter books inscribed and signed by author J.K. Rowling, Luke Skywalker's lightsaber, Indiana Jones' whip, and the United Planets Cruiser C-57D from Forbidden Planet. The full list is over here.

• Supposedly Patrick Swayze's cancer has spread and he doesn't have long to live. We hope this turns out to not be true.
