A tall, icy glass of our favorite internet junk, just for you.

- Apparently there's an artist who goes around making bizarre, fake roadside attractions, including one that commemorates the Union's plan to use dinosaurs against the South in the Civil War. Awesome!
- Our old friend Toren Atkinson dug up a bunch of fun movie rumors: Frank Miller might direct an adaptation of his own graphic novel, Hard Boiled; Djimon Hounsou will star in and produce a big screen feature about the immortal sorcerer Thulsa Doom (memorably portrayed by James Earl Jones in Conan the Barbarian); and Jonathan Mostow of Terminator 3 fame will be directing the Namor the Submariner film.
- What's with all the hot ladies leaving acting? The other day there was the news that Angelina Jolie was planning on quitting, and now comes the news that Nicole Kidman may join her. Luckily, we can cheer ourselves up by watching Robot Chicken: Star Wars - Episode II online.
- Recent discoveries suggest there could be vastly more habitable planets out there than was previously thought possible. Also, there's a daily pill that could slash your odds of getting AIDS. (Via)
- "Monty Python has launched an official YouTube channel, serving up high-quality clips of the British comedy troupe's popular skits." Woo hoo! You can find the site here.
- A new behind-the-scenes clip from Punisher: War Zone. (Via)
- More news on Inglorious Basterds: apparently Eli Roth is directing a Nazi propaganda film that will be included in the movie. Also, the movie will be split into two stories, one following a group of prisoners-turned-soldiers whose mission is to take down a group of Nazis, and the other following a young Jewish woman who seeks to avenge the death of her parents by this Nazi group.

- A researcher is developing energy-generating fabric to tap the power of breasts. Ah, breasts. Is there anything they can't do?
- Sci Fi Wire offers its impressions of the footage of Star Trek recently screened for the press, while Underwire also talks about the event. Originally we were pretty excited about this film, but now that we've seen the trailer and read details of other part of the film, it's starting to look pretty lame. They're just chucking a lot of the basic themes and continuity of the Star Trek universe out the window, and replacing them with broad humor. Ugh.
- Sci Fi Wire also presents 10 Ways to Update Earth Stood Still. We don't like the way they trash black and white, but some of the other points they make are good ones.
- Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor have dropped out as the directors of Jonah Hex, with the old chestnut "creative differences" cited as the reason. This doesn't seem like a good sign...
- Sony has been ordered to pay $18.5 million for infringing on a patent held by Agere Systems for a "wireless local area network apparatus." Ouch!
- Surprisingly, market research firm JPR claims that the PC gaming market is vastly larger than that of the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii combined. Game|Life points out this is based on sales figures for gaming PCs, and does not take into account handheld console sales, or how those gaming PCs are used.
- Nerd World takes a bemused look at some rather questionable internal Microsoft e-mails that have been leaking out.
- Watching a cat ride a Roomba is strangely mesmerizing.
- Underwire talks to the head honcho at Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited to get an idea what's going on there for the holidays. The post is accompanied by some cool art.
- A look at continuity and factual errors in the latest James Bond film.
- There aren't many details yet, but apparently Boom Blox 2 is in development.
- Yesterday was the Wii's second birthday. Sigh. They grow up so fast. Happy belated, Wii!
- Simplified remote controls, for the simple people in your life.
- NASA lost one of the spiders they sent to space. How do you lose a spider in a spaceship?! That's bound to come back to haunt them. Giant alien space spider babies are on the way, mark our words. (Also check out a few of the amusing graphics Super Punch chose to illustrate that post.)
- Speaking of amusing Super Punch illustrations, check out some of the pictures here. We particularly like the "Hills Are Alive" poster and the Spider-Man drawing.
- Scroll down a bit on this post and check out the disturbing print ad and commercial for Marzon, the walking robot... thing.
- Luke Cage, if he had been one of Kirby's New Gods. Nice!
- Google Maps can be used to do so many important things—like create an exhaustively annotated map for the Capital Wasteland from Fallout 3.
- A metareview of Tomb Raider: Underworld. The reviews are generally positive, but there are no raves.
