- If you're on a bike and the traffic light you just pulled up to is set to change only when it senses a car, you could have a long wait ahead of you. Unless you have the Traffic Loop Sensor Activator, a cool gadget invented by an engineer from Maryland. It "creates a brief, but strong, magnetic field that simulates the presence of a much larger conductor—say, the body of a car—and triggers the inductive sensor that lets the light know a vehicle is waiting."
- Wired takes a silly look back at themselves looking back at themselves. It's slightly confusing, but also funny.
- A gallery of the best fictional doomsday devices.
- Yet another James Bond-related list from Cinematical! This one is the seven best last lines.
- This is awesome: 100 movies spoiled in under 5 minutes.
- We've always thought The Incredibles had more in common with James Bond movies than superhero movies, and this clever fan-made video makes the connection that much clearer.

- The folks at Shiny Shiny present a gallery of the best concept gadgets they wish were real.
- With the first movie not even out yet, the sequels to Twilight are already in the works.
- Clint Eastwood is in talks to direct the supernatural thriller Hereafter. The plot details are being kept under wraps, but supposedly it'll be in the vein of The Sixth Sense.
