Blue (ID# A02017783)

Blue is a two-to-three-year-old Pitty/Terrier mix who was brought to the shelter by his former humans because they couldn't afford to keep him. Fortunately, his humans were loving and caring, and they did an excellent job of training him, as he knows a number of commands. Like so many white dogs, though, Blue is deaf, so when you give him the commands, you'll have to provide some physical guidance for him as well. Blue appreciates the world, but doesn't feel the need to investigate everything, or to chase things. He's great on a leash, and he enjoys the company of other dogs, and people—Blue attended this past weekend's PAWS happy hour at the Raven Lounge and was a big hit. All in all, Blue is a wonderful, laid back dog who will be a great addition to whatever home is lucky enough to get him.

If you like to save Blue, e-mail his foster mom Karina at pinupkarinaingrid@gmail.com. The adoption fee for a PAWS dog is $40, plus an $8 city license fee if you live in Philadelphia. The fee includes spaying/neutering, which will be performed before your new companion comes home with you, and microchipping.
