A week's worth of local Craigslist hijinks...
With the election of Barack Obama last week, we're already feeling the hope and civic mindedness he that campaigned on bathing our fair city in beaming sunlight. Keeping in the spirit of this winning feeling, we'd like to give a shout-out to the selfless among us, like this nice couple who can only justify their long jaunts to everyone's favorite upscale chain groceries by reducing their carbon footprint through no-strings-attached carpooling.
Even big box stores like Staples are giving back to the little people, likely honoring Capitolo Park at 9th and Federal with $10,000 for improvements.
That's not to mention the television industry, which cares deeply about you getting the wedding you deserve, despite any obstacles in your way.
Keeping with campaign objectives like preserving dignity and showing respect, childrens' opinions are being considered with higher regard than ever. In fact, on the Main Line, they even get to have their own fashion focus groups.
Yes, everyone, the times they are a'changing, though some things in town fortunately never change. Like Saturday night Missed Connections at Silk City.
