These glammers from NYC will dropping lots of neon, nylon and rock'n'roll on the folks over at the Khyber tonight. The Semi Precious Weapons are touring in support of their debut album, We Love You. It's always good to be loved, but head out to the Khyber tonight to see if the feeling is mutual.

A BRONX TALE AT THE MERRIAM THEATER
Remember the movie? Well, we bet the movie was a cheaper date than the theatrical version going down tonight at the Merriam Theater. But we also bet that Chazz Palminteri himself wasn't there when you first saw the movie. The one-man show, starring Palminteri, who wrote both the original theatrical version and the screenplay to the cinematic piece, is back with a vengeance tonight. And remember: good theater doesn't come cheap, and Chazz Palminteri doesn't come to Philly every year.

GEE'S BEND AT THE ARDEN THEATRE
Gee's Bend examines the struggles of three Alabama women who used artistic expression in the way of elaborate quilts to help themselves and each other cope with the struggle against racism in early 20th-century America. You can also see the quilt-work of other women from Gee's Bend, Alabama on display at the Philadelphia Museum of art until December 14th.
