Yo, Philly in the News

• As you know, yesterday was Election Day. Well, here are your results for local races in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
• If you voted in Philadelphia, you noticed the four referendum questions on the right-hand side of your ballot (see, we voted!). You can find the results here!
• And, we're not sure if you heard, but Barack Obama is the President-elect of the United States of America. Last night, it sounded as if the Phillies won the world series again with all of the celebrating in the streets and around City Hall.
• As gracious and heartfelt as John McCain’s concession speech was, it seems that his supporters still aren’t ready to concede to Barack Obama.
• The Phillies are cleaning house and ridding themselves of any loose ends. Third base coach Steve Smith was relieved of his duties by new General Manager Ruben Amaro Jr.
• Troubled Sen. Vincent Fumo’s defense lawyer kicked back yesterday, accusing a key prosecution witness of shifting his story to damage Fumo’s overall case.
