- We posted a rumor a while back that they might have changed the ending of Watchmen for the film; now comes the news that Warner Brothers is actually testing multiple alternate endings, with the idea that the one from the original book might not fly with mainstream audiences. Bah, we say. Bah!
- The Beatles are finally getting into a rock and rhythm game! Apple Corp (the music label, not the tech company) and MTV have announced an untitled Beatles-related video game. It'll take advantage of the Rock Band platform, but will be its own game and not a Rock Band expansion.
- The rumor we reported yesterday is indeed true: SEGA will publish The Conduit.
- The code for unlocking all songs in Guitar Hero World Tour. Use it if you want... but we'll be over here, frowning in disapproval. Cheater.

- The Sci-Fi Channel has partnered with Samsung and Granada America for WCG GameQuest, a new "elimination-style" game show designed to find the most well-rounded gamer in America. The winner will walk away with $100,000 and trips to attend future World Cyber Games events.

- Another recent study breaking stereotypes about gamers concluded that "55% of game-playing folk are married, 48% have children and, of those who are parents, 57% play video games with their young ones."

- David Tennant has officially announced his intention to leave his role as The Doctor in Doctor Who as of 2009.
- Marvel is hyping a new comic book series called Dark Avengers, which will apparently feature a character called the Iron Patriot, who looks like some kind of weird combination of Iron Man and Captain America. Hmm...
