Due to a killer hangover following Game 5 (part one) of the World Series unforeseen circumstances, we didn't get a Cat of the Week posted on Tuesday. So today, we've got a double-dose of adoptable pets for you! Stay tuned for our Dog of the Week later this afternoon.
Chase (ID# A06224559)
C'mon, after Utley's absolutely ridiculous play to nail Jason Bartlett at the plate last night, how could you not want Chase? Oh, wait, wrong Chase. This one is pretty awesome, too, though. He's a handsome 1 to 2 year old tortoiseshell. He's a friendly, playful boy who's taken up residence at the Old City adoption center. If you have a cat who's in need of a playmate, there's a good chance that Chase is the home-run of a cat for you.
If you'd like to save Chase, e-mail alamond@phillypaws.org. The adoption fee for a PAWS cat is $40. The fee includes spaying/neutering, which will be performed before your new companion comes home with you, and microchipping. Also, make note of Chase's ID number above, and bring it with you when you go to the PAWS adoption center, which is located at 100 N. 2nd Street (the corner of 2nd and Arch).
