Can't Miss This!

Full disclosure: Yes, tonight is game one of the World Series, in which the Philadelphia Phillies battle the Tampa Bay Rays at 8pm Eastern Time. However, if you're not a baseball fan, there are some other options for this evening.

The New Annotated Dracula will be discussed this evening at the RosenbachTHE ROSENBACH PRESENTS: THE NEW ANNOTATED DRACULA
Bram Stoker scholar Leslie Klinger (as much a fan of Sherlock Holmes as he is of Dracula) will be reading from and signing copies of his new release, which involved research on the horror master's original manuscript.

The Rosenbach is no stranger to vampire lore, as we have mentioned before. They are home to some of Stoker's working notes for the original Dracula. That's precisely the reason they're once again hosting their annual Dracula Festival.

Tonight, Klinger will be discussing the literary classic and the information his recent research has... unearthed... about, among other things, Stoker's claim that the story was based on real history. Fans of classic horror, literature, and classic horror literature are sure to be... sucked in... by this engaging discussion. Klinger will be signing his name, too—just, we hope, not in his own blood.
