Keith Olbermann reported last night (10/27) that Ed Snider pumped in recorded "cheers" to drown out the boos when Sarah Palin dropped the puck at the opener. Another shameful moment.

Wish I had read it before I went to the game as it offered a great alternative to booing Sarah Palin, having 19,000 fans turn their backs on her.

Bravo Mike. Someone finally had the guts to expose Ed Snider for what he really is. The average working stiff, that the 'original' Flyers rode to 2 Stanley Cups, can no longer afford the outrageous ticket prices to see a NHL game today. And it's only gotten worse since Ed and Comcast got in bed together. What happened to being a fan and an owner? Obviously, the almighty dollar rules in the world of Ed (Gordon Gecko) Snider.

Just realized that Roenick and Primeau never played for the Flyers during the Spectrum era, so ya know, my bad. But the point is still valid. My fault for going out of my way not to mention Lindros.
