What's new and/or interesting on TV this week.
NLCS Game 4: Phillies at Dodgers (Mon, 8PM-11PM, Fox)
How about them Phils? Sadly this won't be the last game of the series after last night's loss, but it could put them back on track.
Presidential Debate (Wed, 9PM-10:30PM, Fox, CNN, ABC; Wed, 9PM-11PM, CBS, NBC, WHYY, WLVT, CNBC, CSPAN, MSNBC, Fox News)
Yep, another one of these. We can't wait until this election is over.
MythBusters (Wed, 9PM-10PM, Discovery)
Yay, more ninja myths! They include catching an arrow in midair, knocking out an opponent with a punch from only an inch away, and using a blowgun underwater.
Prototype This! (Wed, 10PM-11PM, Discovery)
This new series opens up with the show's build team trying to use biofeedback and mind control technologies to make a car that bypasses road rage. A mind-controlled car! Nice!
Chocolate News (Wed, 10:30PM-11PM, Comedy Central)
Comedy Central is starting up another parody news show; this one is from an African American perspective and stars David Alan Grier. Skits include Grier portraying Maya Angelou as she composes a poem for the inauguration of the next president; a commentary on the death of hip-hop; and a rapper who records public service announcements for the No Child Left Behind Act.
Supernatural (Thu, 9PM-10PM, The CW)
This special black and white episode pays tribute to classic movie monsters. Murders are being committed at an Oktoberfest celebration by a shape-shifting demon that's taking the form of iconic movie monsters like vampires, werewolves, and mummies.
Crusoe (Fri, 8PM-10PM, NBC)
The first episode of a new miniseries adaptation of Daniel Defoe's classic novel. Crusoe's headed to the New World seeking financial security when he's nearly killed and shipwrecked on a deserted island.
