- We posted a link to an xkcd comic a while back wherein a character created a virus that would force commenters on YouTube to listen to any comments they tried to make by reading their words back to them aloud. The idea was to shame them with their own stupidity. Clever and funny—and now, reality. The developers at YouTube created an option that allows you to hear an audio preview of your comment before you make it.

- Anyone who's actually read any history can tell you that Cindy McCain's recent claim that Barack Obama is waging "the dirtiest campaign in American history" is totally bogus. But mental_floss has made this fact even clearer by picking out some particularly dirty tricks from previous campaigns in American history (via Sarah). Just look at the way Jefferson and Adams laid into each other! Damn. Of course, some candidates are capable of more than nasty bickering: just look at the poetry of Sarah Palin! (And btw, if you hadn't heard, the 20-year-old Tennessee student who was under suspicion for allegedly hacking into Palin's private Yahoo e-mail account has been indicted.)

- Joystiq gives its impressions of Quantum of Solace after a hands-on experience with the game.
- Rumor has it that LucasArts has licensed out its Rogue Squadron games to an unnamed publisher that is updating their visuals and control schemes for Wii. We didn't love all the Rogue Squadron games, but one or two were pretty cool, so this is pretty exciting news—if it's true.
- It looks like Dan, Fei-Long, Sakura, and Seth are all joining the cast of Street Fighter IV. We're particularly excited about Fei-Long, because Fei-Long rules.
