PAWS Dog of the Week

Milo.jpgThe city's animals, which PAWS work so tirelessly for, are in serious danger. The time to take action is now!

Milo (ID# A05994121)

Milo is a 1 to 2 year old Pit Bull mix with a lot of energy and personality. He'd probably do best with an experienced owner who is willing to put in some training time. He's an active dog who is sometimes a little unsure of himself, and could use some more human affection and guidance to reach his full potential. Milo is working on walking well on a leash, and learning basic commands; he's learning fast, and he'll just need a little more education to be the perfect pet. He gets along well with other dogs and people, particularly women—he's quite the ladies' man!

If you'd like to save Milo, e-mail natalie@phillypaws.org. The adoption fee for a PAWS dog is $40, plus an $8 city license fee if you live in Philadelphia. The fee includes spaying/neutering, which will be performed before your new companion comes home with you, and microchipping. Also, make note of Milo's ID number above, and bring it with you when you go to the PAWS shelter, which is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave (map).
