PAWS Cat of the Week

Monique.jpgThe PAWS shelter is still at critical mass. PAWS is especially in need of foster parents for the many kittens who are at the shelter. Every animal is at risk of being put down due to lack of space, so if you've been considering fostering or welcoming a pet into your home, now is the time!

Monique (ID# A05424235)

Monique is a sweet 3 year old who came to PAWS because her owners were evicted. The police actually had to remove her from her home, and now she's at the shelter waiting for a forever home. She's been at the shelter for two months now—way too long. Monique is already spayed, and is ready to go to a warm house (and bring some warmth to one) and put her unfortunate past behind her.

If you'd like to save Monique, e-mail natalie@phillypaws.org. The adoption fee for a PAWS cat is $40, which includes your new friend's first FVRCP vaccination and rabies vaccination, spaying/neutering, and microchipping. Also, make note of Monique's ID number above and bring it with you when you go to the PAWS shelter, which is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave (map).
