Nutter? I Don't Even Know 'er!

• Michael will soon be taking a look at legislation that will eliminate two seats from the City Council. In effect, it would kick Republicans off the City Council. But this would apparently be okay because, as Councilman Wilson Goode put it, Philadelphia "is already a one-party town."
• Michael's not the only Nutter with an entourage, as proven by the posse adorable Olivia rolled into her first day of school with.
• Michael helped usher in National Preparedness Month by distributing disaster preparedness kits at the Target on City Avenue.
• Michael's bid for Philadelphia to become "the greenest city in America" got a boost this week with the announcement that the Free Library will be getting a green roof thanks to some financial assistance from PECO.
• Michael dispatched a number of firefighters, paramedics, etc. to the Gulf Coast to prepare and assist with recovery efforts in light of Hurrice Gustav. Good call.
