• Out of concern for star Shia LaBeouf's safety, the hand injury he received on the set of Transformers 2, which stopped the film's production for some time, has been written into the movie.
• Woody Harrelson has signed on to star in the horror comedy Zombieland. He'll play one member of a mismatched pair of survivors who find friendship and redemption in a world overrun by zombies.
• Vin Diesel says there will be two sequels to The Chronicles of Riddick, and that writer-director David Twohy is writing the scripts right now. The only question is whether or not they will shoot both movies at the same time.
• Marvel has signed a deal to create a lineup of animated series for the Japanese market featuring the company's stable of comic book superheroes.
• We knew gold farming was a thing, but we never would have guessed it was a $500 million industry.
• Amazon announced that it will experiment with release-day delivery for four of this year's biggest games: Fable 2, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and Gears of War 2. This means if you pre-order any of those games at Amazon, you'll receive your package on the day the game comes out.
