PAWS Cat of the Week
The PAWS shelter is still completely full, and healthy, adoptable animals are being put down for no reason other than that there isn't enough space for them in the shelter. PAWS is in desperate need of volunteers who can foster kittens and mom-cats during this kitten season, as well as adopters!
Diamond (ID# A05222334)
Diamond is a 2-to-4 year old gem of a girl who came to the shelter because her owner was in the military and couldn't take her when he was transferred. She'd gotten used to having a warm lap to curl up on and a hand to pet her, but she's lately been stuck in a cold cage at the shelter. She's been there since June, and really doesn't deserve to be passed over anymore. Come meet Diamond and see if she can bring some sparkle to your home!
If you'd like to save Diamond, e-mail natalie@phillypaws.org. The adoption fee for a PAWS cat is $40, which includes your new friend's first FVRCP vaccination and rabies vaccination, spaying/neutering, and microchipping. Also, make note of Diamond's ID number above and bring it with you when you go to the PAWS shelter, which is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave (map).
