Foodsday Tuesday: Goodbye, Summer

city food tours logoLabor Day is nearly upon us. While we love the extra day off work, what we don't love is the fact that we'll soon be hurtling toward cold temperatures, icy streets, and a severe shortage of our favorite produce varieties. So for those of us who want to cling to summer as long as we possibly can, City Food Tours of Philadelphia will be offering a “So Long to Summer” Food Tour on Sunday.

The 2.5-hour tour will kick off at the stunning XIX restaurant at the Bellevue before leading participants on a tour of summer foods: barbecue, icy-cool cocktails, and fresh seafood. Sounds like a fitting farewell to summer—and a warm welcome to fall—to us!

City Food Tours Present:
So Long to Summer Food Tour
Meets at XIX Restaurant (19th Floor of the Bellevue Hotel, Broad and Walnut Streets)
Sunday, August 31, 3:30PM
Tickets: $45 (advance reservation required)
