GEEKS AND TOYS AT NATIONAL MECHANICS
The Hacktory (cohosts of May's Battlestar Gallatica Party) is presenting a range of projects tonight, from the visually stunning to the robotically inclined. Oh, and it's at a bar. We like geeks, we like tech, and we like bars. So, a bar full of tech geeks is really kind of a no-brainer. There will be live chiptune music by Animal Style. Also, you can toss magnetic lights at the wall. Don't know what we're talking about? Go find out for yourself. There's no cover. Just bring a healthy sense of wonder and DIY mentality.

LIVE BAND KARAOKE AT PADDY WHACK'S
The only thing more embarrassing than karaoke is standing on stage with a live band while they laugh and boo with the rest of the crowd while you mangle your favorite song. That's why you should head over to Old City and drink enough to make an ass of yourself. Trust us, it's not all that bad. And if it is, you can just drink more. But remember: Sing responsibly.

MAUCKINGBIRD THEATER COMPANY PRESENTS: R & J
Mauckingbird presents this modernization by award-winning writer Joe Calarco places Romeo and Juliet within an all-male prep school. As the production within the production progresses, the line between art and life begins to flicker and fade. Mauckingbird has impressed us before, so we expect a good show.
