Blogged Around Philly

turntableWe bring you the buzz in the 215 blogs this week.

Philebrity pondered the meta nature of blogs and social networking while enjoying publicist Paige Wolf's performance of her song Online Social Network. Ooh, does this mean we're even more meta? Is that possible?

Brooke Hogan sets women back 100 years. So says NightlifeGay, and we're inclined to agree... except who really listens to Brooke Hogan anyway?

It's all about the Olympics at A List of Things Thrown Five Minutes Ago. Check their Olympic-to-English translation of upcoming events, as well as a rather horrifying look back at Olympic history.

Jack to the Future posted an interesting video about the vinyl vs. digital debate and DJing in general. Also, apparently there's a song called "I'm Too Fat To Be A Hipster." Ha.

The Illadelph noted that Philly is getting its first Green Certified hotel. Unfortunately, it's down by the airport, which makes us wonder how green it could really be.

And finally, we just discovered Lord Whimsy, or the Affected Provincial's Almanack. Check out the gorgeous (and yes, whimsical) photos posted for your viewing pleasure. We're loving Knick Knack Hero at the moment.

Got a Philly blog? Send us a link; we'll include it in our weekly reading list and you might just see your buzz here.
