- Disney has optioned a new graphic novel called Monster Attack Network, about a group of tough first responders who battle the sea monsters that are constantly attacking the otherwise perfect South Pacific island of Lapuatu. Sounds like fun.

- Rumor has it that Apple is preparing to launch the iPhone Nano around Christmas. It would have less functionality (including limited internet functionality), cost around $300, and have a scroll wheel on the back.
- The word from Id Software is that the Wolfenstein movie is still in the works, with the film's writer and director Roger Avary still writing the script.
- Word is that in Transformers 2 Megatron will return as a tank.

- Ballantine is going to publish a book inspired by Garfield Minus Garfield, one of our favorite web comics. We were a little afraid of what that "inspired by" might mean, but apparently it will be pretty much the same thing as the comic, but will also include the original strips for comparison.
- The original Mega Man should hit the Virtual Console today, with Mega Man 2 coming in early September, and the brand spanking new Mega Man 9 arriving on WiiWare as soon as September, as well.
