Alligators have been showing up in Bucks County ponds and watering holes. So much so, there is a group called upon to handle the situation when it arises: the Gator Wranglers.
Recently they picked one up from a pond near a construction site in Northampton. So far they’ve encountered about six gators in the past two years; that’s six too many in Bucks County.
Apparently suburbanites think its fun to order a baby gator online and then, when they get too big and scary to care for, release them into the woods.
Not so.
"They think it's funny or they're doing the right thing by letting the animal go, but it's hurting the ecosystem," said Joe Fortunato (aka Jungle Joe), a former Philadelphia police officer and animal activist.
Not too mention scaring the beejezus out of us!

Ya'll haven't lived in Florida. There is one in every pond/lake/body of water. When I lived there, there was one in my backyard!
