Mayor Does Good

Drama Queen alerts us that Mayor Michael Nutter announced the opening of the Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, a "Frankenversion of the old Office of Arts and Culture (OAC)."

You may recall that the OAC had been closed by former Mayor John Street four years ago, leaving the city as an embarrassing example of a major American city without a cultural affairs office.
