A steaming hot pile of our favorite things from around the internets.

- XPN's 885 countdown this year will list the quintessential XPN songs. We're not even sure what that means, but you can go and vote right here.
- So what's next now that E3 is over? Comic-Con! EW has your photo gallery preview of the event (via). And check out the sweet Star Trek character poster!
- Amazon has launched a video streaming service called Amazon Video on Demand (Via)
- Hey, how about some trailers? First up, take a look at the trailer for Watchmen (via). We're still worried this will be a terrible movie, but it's a pretty awesome trailer. Cinematical takes note of the odd fact that in one scene a gun is replaced with a walkie talkie in order to abide by the MPAA rule that a gun cannot be pointed out at the audience in an ad (crazy). Also getting the trailer treatment is Ridley Scott's spy thriller Body of Lies, slasher movie All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (via), vampire romance Twilight, and Heroes Season 3.
- Some crazy Chinese artist is suing Dreamworks over its offensive depiction of the panda (the national symbol of China) in Kung Fu Panda. Apparently he's particularly annoyed that the panda in the movie has green eyes (which is a symbol of evil), and that his dad is a duck. Except he was a goose. And probably not his dad. Also, it was kind of an animated comedy about talking animals. Take it easy, buddy.
- Blizzard has begun the Wrath of the Lich King beta. You may now begin trembling in anticipation.
- E3 may be over, but that doesn't mean we don't have at least one more load of E3 links for you! Joystiq made up an award to give to Running With Scissors for their creative video game weapon: the badger on a harness. Sci Fi Wire learned that Lego Batman has been delayed until late September (although we can tide ourselves over with Game|Life's report from their hands on experience with the game), and got a look at the new Lara Croft adventure. Apparently there's a Wolfenstein RPG for mobiles. Nintendo Wii Fanboy gives us a round-up of day four, shows us some screenshots from Lightsaber Duels, videos from Castlevania Judgment, the crazy retro box art from Mega Man 9, and a very positive review of Wario Land: Shake It! Finally, Game|Life offers a video wrap-up of E3.
- Cool: a South Korean Western called The Good, the Bad, the Weird is coming to the US.
- Joystiq gives us some details on the upcoming Xbox 360 karaoke game, Lips.
- Feist on Sesame Street!
- The trailer for action survival game I Am Alive.
- Some Dark Knight-related links: Underwire found a fan who's having fun Jokerizing photos and posters and pretty much anything else she can get her hands on, and Comicrazys posted a cool Batman cover gallery.
- Is there really a PSP emulator on the way for the Wii? Probably not, but it's a cool idea.

Across the Ist-a-Verse

LOLCats have not been funny for some time.
They have also lost their irony value. All they say now is we are so uncreative we keep beating a dead horse because we are stupid hipsters trying to be ironic or funny.
Please stop.
You just look stupid.
An annoying troll. We haz it.
