A look at every sort of crash includes efforts to make auto racing safer, a visit to a motorcycle crash test facility, an interview with a skydiver who survived a crash, a visit with a NASA asteroid-tracking team, and how scientists make subatomic particles collide.
Animal Planet Dog Championships (Sat, 7PM-10PM, Animal Planet)
Dog competitions of any kind are always a good time, because you get to see lots of dogs frolicking, but this one has the added benefit of being held locally, in Harrisburg, PA.
When Rome Ruled Egypt (Sun, 10PM-11PM, Discovery Channel)
Takes a look back at... well, the time when Rome ruled Egypt! Apparently, it was a time marked by wars and betrayals. And of course, since history is boring without treasure, also included is the search for a priceless fortune in treasure from the era that may still be hidden there.
