Jocelyn Kirsch, aka Bonnie, aka Stealy McFakeBirthdayBoobies turned herself in to the US Marshall’s Office a little before 2 PM today.

Kirsch and her boyfriend Edward K. Anderton, aka Clyde, aka Grifty MyDadIsGonnaKillMeberg were arrested last December for allegedly scamming their friends, neighbors and co-workers out of more than $116,000 with which they bought expensive presents, took elaborate trips to places like Paris and the Caribbean, and inspired the Jocelyn Kirsch is scandalous Facebook Group. Anderton pled guilty to the charges in early June.

Kirsch was expected to turn herself in tomorrow based on a ruling by U.S.District Judge Eduardo C. Robreno. No one is saying why the judge signed the detention order now, but Kirsch and her attorney are more than willing to comply.

"We know that there's a two-year mandatory minimum sentence, and at this point, given all the circumstances of the case, it didn't make any sense to stay out any longer," said Kirsch's attorney, Ronald Greenblatt.

Prosecutors were looking to detain J-Kir after she was accused of stealing a bike and a co-worker's credit card from the Starbucks she was working at in California. She denied the charges.
