Nutter? I Don't Even Know 'er!

• Just when you thought there were absolutely no more awards for him to win, Michael was honored with the Philadelphia Young Playwrights' Civics Award.
• Now that Barack Obama is the Democratic nominee for the White House, Michael joined fellow Hillary Clinton supporter Ed Rendell in getting behind Obama, appearing at a fundraising dinner for the Illinois Senator.
• Michael's honeymoon with the city might come to an end when he has negotiate new contracts with the city's four municipal unions.
• Michael is looking to put some teeth back in the city planning commission, which has largely been a powerless body for some time now.
• The Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Cooperative Authority approved Michael's five-year spending plan even though there were some questions related to income to be generated by the casinos that will (probably?) (maybe?) (who knows?) be built in the city, as well as income from skybox rentals at Lincoln Financial Field.
