Phillyist Framed 2008 is a Week From Tomorrow!

In April we called on our readers to submit their photos for the inaugural Phillyist Framed photography contest and show. The people at Studio 34 Yoga, the Phillyist staff, and of course, the selected winners have been busy organizing the event and turning digital camera files into professionally-framed prints.

Now, here's where you come in: we'd love to have our readers and their guests on hand to celebrate with us. Use any of the following reasons as your motivation:

• View more than two dozen amazing photos and meet the local artists, both amateur and professional, who captured them.


• Purchase one of the winning photos to display in your home or office, or as a gift. Most will be for sale at various price levels (set by the photographer).


• Check out the impressive Studio 34 space, and meet some of their staff including the amazing sculptor James Peniston.


• Meet some of Phillyist's ultra-friendly editors and writers.


• Meet the show's judges, the photographers behind SkyscraperSunset.com (disclaimer: that's me), phillyskyline.com, and JJ Tiziou Photography.
