Blogged Around Philly

pigeonWe bring you the buzz in the 215 blogs this week.

Rubber Hose celebrated rats with wings. We think they're sort of pretty, especially the ones that look like an oil spill on asphalt.

Missing kittens and gay marriage. Do the two have anything in common? Not really, but this blog entry from Crushing Krisis resonated with this Phillyist nonetheless.

Unsatisfied with an email from Arlen Specter, Brendan Calling called the Senator's office demanding answers. He didn't exactly get them.

Hungry? Check out Foobooz's quick look at The Market at Comcast Center, yet another way to pack on the pounds (and empty your wallet, if you choose to dine on lobster at the Plaza Cafe).

Based on its Speaking Freely blog, the Pennsylvania chapter of the ACLU is probably relieved not to be in Louisiana. It's not the heat; it's the stupidity.

Got a Philly blog? Send us a link; we'll include it in our weekly reading list and you might just see your buzz here.

Cool. Nice to see you guys linking my brother's blog. He's a great writer and his phone calls to our local pols are hilarious, yet deadly serious in the subject manner and tone.

You should check out his previous phone calls. He's been doing this awhile.
