Honoring Dad

World's Greatest DadIf your dad is like most dads, deciding what to buy him for Father’s Day can be nearly impossible. Exactly how many ties does one man need? Do men even wear ties anymore? Here are some Philly-themed ideas to help make this Father’s Day a memorable one:

For the music-loving dad, the Philadelphia Legends of Jazz Orchestra will be at the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts.

Take dad on a father’s day cruise on the Spirit of Philadelphia.

Do something healthy by taking dad on the Father’s Day Run 4 Your Life 5K Run/Walk. It’s also for a good cause with proceeds going to the Foundation for Breast and Prostate Health.

If the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, you can’t go wrong with a good meal.

If you're still stuck for ideas there's always the typical dad gifts. A bbq set, accessories from the bar, and tools from the local Home Depot always seem to do the trick. Whatever you do, just try to stay away from the World's Greatest Dad t-shirts, pins, mugs, hats, or anything of that sort.
