Let's hear it for passive-aggressive weather patterns!
WORLD CAFE LIVE PRESENTS: CHANA ROTHMAN AND AVI WISNIA
Rothman has a MySpace and tonight she has come to share YourSpace. Avi Wisnia, son of a (Rabbinical) preacher man, also graces this evening's ticket. The former, folk, the latter, bossa nova. Both feature full bands and styles you haven't beaten into the ground yet with your iPod. Unless you're a rather progressive beater-into-the-ground-with-your-iPod kind of person. The night will include some collaborative efforts that will bring the two songwriters together in an attempt to meld their musically-minded minions into one fan base with excellent taste in the sonic arts.

ROBIN'S BOOKSTORE PRESENTS: JEN SORENSON AND ONE NATION, OH MY GOD!
Her Slowpoke comics have culled laughter from many readers and web surfers, and now she brings her politically biting brand of cartoon humor home, sort of. This Lancaster County native will be at Robin's tonight to discuss the aforementioned publication of her newest collection. Should be a good time, and it's free. So buy the book. A little more laughter is exactly what this crazy mixed-up world could use.
