Seriously? Seriously? You've got to be kidding. But wait, you're not. That's right, Philadelphians. Our favorite bad girl turned thief turned local celebrity turned future Hustler model, Joceyln Kirsch, is back the news. Apparently, there's a new allegation of credit card theft against her. So much for laying low in California.

We've suspect that Kirsch's phone calls with her attorney must go something like the exchange from Liar Liar. You know the one, where Jim Carrey comes into the office and his secretary tells him that one of his clients is on the phone:

Greta: He knocked over another ATM. This time at knife point. He needs your legal advice.
Fletcher: [picking up phone] STOP BREAKING THE LAW, ASSHOLE!!!

Of course, it's not all Jocelyn's fault. Well, being devoid of any moral core is pretty much all Jocelyn's fault. But the fact that she's headline news isn't. It's our fault. We eat up Jocelyn stories because she has a pretty face (at least when she's not having a mugshot taken) and, as a friend of mine likes to say, tig ol' bitties. So Philadelphia, can we knock it off? Can we stop caring? And can we pledge that, when a Jocelyn sex tape hits the internets (which we think it inevitably will), we won't download it?

So, for demonstrating a complete lack of grip on the reality that when you've got pending identity theft charges against you, it's a bad idea to steal a credit card, Jocelyn Kirsch is our Asshole of the Week, with an honorable mention to all of us who can't resist reading all the Jocelyn news.
