- The 14-year-old Lansdowne boy accused of stabbing his older brother to death over a video game has admitted to voluntary manslaughter. The judge will determine his sentence at a hearing on June 5th; he faces a maximum of seven years of supervision until he reaches age 21.

He was inspired to draft the bill after a large dog attacked a beagle being walked by a little girl in his district.

- A police cruiser was passing through the intersection of 52nd and Spruce Streets at 6:46 yesterday morning when it was struck by an SUV and a small sedan. The accident snarled traffic and all three drivers suffered injuries, though thankfully none of them life-threatening.
