Most Likely to Rule: Standard Operating Procedure
Master documentary filmmaker Errol Morris takes on the Abu Ghraib prison scandal in his latest effort, and also of course takes time out to meditate on the frightening side effects of the War on Terror. This is a must-see as far as we're concerned.

Most Likely to Suck: Essential Visual Music: Rare Classics from CVM Archive
Essential Visual Music is a program being screened in two parts (one this Friday, and the other next Friday) at the International House. It's being presented by Center for Visual Music in conjunction with an exhibit at Vox Populi Gallery called Screening. Center for Visual Music is a nonprofit film archive dedicated to (you guessed it!) visual music, but also experimental animation and abstract media, while Screening is dedicated to the presentation of innovative, challenging and exciting moving images. This Friday's program features German pioneers, light show psychedelia, experimental animation classics, rare films, and preserved prints, all from the Center for Visual Music's archives. It could be very interesting, but it's more likely to be pretentious and dull. Thus the suckage.
