Blogged Around Philly

phillies.jpgWe bring you the buzz from the 215 blogs this week.

Philly Gossip noted that Parker Posey, in town shooting a film with Demi Moore, stopped by our friend Dan's shop, Wilbur Vintage in The Antiquarian. Dan gave Parker's fluffball of a dog some chewing gum. Awww... This reminds us of a cartoon in which a dog swallowed gum and, um, blew a bubble out the other end. No word from Dan on whether this sort of thing can happen in real life.

Philebrity wasn't keen on the Philly.com redesign and made some good points in their critique. But what we're really loving them for this week is pointing out the grossest story we've read in a long, long time. (You might want to skip this one if you just ate.)

Artblog sat down with Philly-born, ex-pat artist Max Mulhern and played with his pedestals. It's not what you think.

The Good Phight reflected on the Phillies' performance at the quarter-season mark with an in-depth analysis that sort of made our heads hurt.

The Illadelph was pleased to report that the former Inn on Locust will be reborn as a new boutique hotel (The Independent). No word yet on what this means for Bump, but local brunchers have another option with Alfa, which—The Illadelph is also pleased to report—is now offering Bloody Mary flights to cure your weekend hangover.
