There is something incredibly satisfying in watching people fly by you and imaging them being gouged at the pump.

I have noticed it is easier to drive slower on county/state roads than on highways.

I have also noticed that the people behind me on the highways seem incredibly agitated that I am only doing 5 mph over the speed limit.

Those cars that come up faster in our rear-view mirror are also more likely to be flipping us the bird now if we are driving slower, but we have to ignore them (though I suppose it's more satisfying to reciprocate their rude gesture).

I've been cruising at 60 for the last few weeks during my daily commute. The hardest part has been forcing myself to move into the right lane. Although it may not hurt to drive slower, those cars on 95 sure come up a lot faster in your rear-view mirror.
