What to Watch Tonight... Duh
What to Watch: It's the Flyers vs. the Penguins in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals at 7:30pm on Versus. Bad news for the Orange and Black: Kimmo Timonen has a blood clot in his left ankle. The Flyers' best defensemen will likely miss this series and possibly the remainder of the playoffs, a huge blow to the Flyers' chances of shutting down Sidney Crosby and the high-flying Pens. But hey, they've dealt with injuries all season—just another speed bump for the 2K8 Broad Street Bullies.
Where to Watch: McGillin's Old Ale House is holding a contest in conjunction with the Town Tavern in Pittsburgh. If you register and win, a Flyers series victory earns you a trip to the Steel City with lodging, a duck tour, and a $100 gift certificate to the Town Tavern. Can we just take the money, buy Primanti sandwiches and some Iron City and drive it back home to civilization? Dude, they put fries ON the sandwich.
Doesn't look like the sports writers are on our side. Did anyone tell them the Penguins have NEVER defeated the Flyers in a playoff series? One thing is for sure, though: it's going to be nasty.

I'm going to see Iron Man, at the Loew's in Cherry Hill and then I'm going to go to either Bahama Breeze or Buca do Bepo... You know really make a night of it...
Go Pens! Bring Lord Stanley's cup back to the 'Burgh!
Ummm... Andrew? Aren't you on the staff of a Philly blog? Do you want us to fire you?
